The End Result

It was a beautiful day in Nevada when we started to work on these Porsche brake calipers from the comfort of our shop. These pictures show you the powder coating process from the beginning to the end, incuding re-applying the Porsche logo, media blast, hot tank, and putting the calipers inside the curing oven. When it comes to caliper paint, powder coating is superior, and the following pictures are evidence of this:

Red calipers from Porsche look great when they are brand new, and we had to make sure the end result would be just as good.

The first step is to media blast them down to a nice smooth and clean surface.

The calipers are hot tanked to remove any contaminants. Then they are masked with a high temperature take and plugged on all threads.

We powder coat them with your choice of color (in this case red) and apply the needed Porsche logo. Then we put them in a curing oven set to a temperature of 400 degrees.
